We’re the experts in caring for and educating young children—and supporting the families who love them.
If you’re searching for the best place for your child to learn and grow when you can’t be there, Rascal House is the right choice. From the tiniest coo to the first bold steps, we know that every moment in a child’s early years matters. That’s why our programs are designed with purpose: to nurture, challenge, and inspire—right from the start.
At Rascal House, we go beyond traditional daycare. Our approach puts education first, even for infants, because we believe every child is ready for more. Our curriculum is built on a whole-child philosophy, meaning we support every aspect of your child’s development. At Rascal House, we don’t just care for your child—we champion their growth. Because when education, care, and curiosity come together, children thrive.
Infant Program The First Steps Toward Lifelong Learning
For many first-time parents, choosing the right daycare can feel overwhelming. At Rascal House, we understand that while nurturing care is a fundamental need, it’s never too early to begin your child’s educational journey.
In the earliest months of life, every lullaby sung, every bottle fed, and every gentle rock to sleep is a powerful moment of emotional development. Our Infant Program is built to nurture those moments while laying the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
We create strong bonds with each child, encouraging exploration and discovery through age-appropriate play and sensory stimulation. Our theme-based infant curriculum is enriched with special programs including:
Singing Rascals (music & movement)
Cruising Rascals (exploring & physical)
Signing Rascals (American Sign Language for infants)
Focused Areas of Development
Our curriculum focuses on the whole infant, ensuring that every developmental domain is nurtured with care and intention:
• Fine Motor Skills
Infants strengthen hand-eye coordination and dexterity through simple but meaningful activities—clapping to music, grasping finger foods, and holding onto favorite toys.
• Language & Communication
We support early communication through expressive sounds, repetition, and baby sign language. This helps reduce frustration, bridge the pre-verbal gap, and allow infants to express their wants and needs with confidence.
• Gross Motor / Movement in Space
As babies begin crawling, cruising, and eventually walking, they’re building strength from head to toe. Our environment is designed to encourage safe exploration and physical development.
• Social & Emotional Development
Every smile, hug, and kind word helps infants feel secure and loved. These consistent, nurturing interactions build trust and promote confidence in social settings.
• Cognitive Growth
From peek-a-boo to cause-and-effect toys, we introduce playful challenges that stimulate brain development and foster critical early thinking skills like object permanence and problem-solving.
